
On January 26, 2005 at the
Georgia Chapter of the American Fisheries Society meeting held at
George T Bagby State Park, The Lake Oconee Bass Masters Chapter
7939 received the new B.A.S.S. Conservation patch. The new
Conservation Patch was presented to the Lake Oconee Bass Masters
by Chris Horton B.A.S.S Conservation Manager. The Lake Oconee
Bass Masters were give the conservation patch for their work on
Lake Oconee with the Georgia Department of Fisheries putting in
new fish habitat and fish attractors in the lake.
The Lake Oconee Bass Masters
were also give a Certificate of Appreciation from the Georgia
Chapter of the American Fisheries Society for aquatic resource
stewardship and assistance with fishery management projects. This
certificate was presented to the Lake Oconee Bass Masters by Scott
Hendricks, Land Resources Supervisor Georgia Power Company and
Georgia B.A.S.S. Chapter Federation Conservation Director.
